Synopsis

A college counselor, faced with the disappearance of a determined black college student struggling with tuition, uncovers systemic biases as her case fails to garner attention compared to missing white students. Despite skepticism and indifference, the counselor persists in piecing together the student’s last moments, shedding light on the disparities in how missing persons cases are perceived and prioritized. As the investigation deepens, it exposes societal inequalities and challenges prevailing stereotypes about race and visibility in media coverage.

By spotlighting the overlooked disappearance of a black college student, it prompts viewers to confront societal inequalities and consider the implications for justice and empathy in our communities.

The music


The film’s soundtrack flowed with a subtle yet gritty undertone, maintaining suspense throughout. To authentically depict today’s youth, incorporating a significant amount of beat-making and hip-hop was essential.
